I am normally very skeptical when it comes to websites offering online ways to earn some extra money. After all, I have seen so many different websites offering between $5 and $100 for completing surveys, for example. In truth, these websites just don't deliver. Either the surveys do not exist, or miraculously, it takes 15 to 20 minutes of answering questions to be told that you don't qualify.
InboxDollars is in my opinion different. I say this because I have actually received real checks from them which I have cashed into "real" money. So I wanted to share a little about this website, as I think it is one worth signing up to. Here is how it works.

Once you have joined, there are a number of ways that you can start earning money, but top four that I highly recommend:
- Get Paid to Read E-mails – this is as simple as it sounds. Every day InboxDollars will send you a number of e-mails with adverts. Every time you click on an e-mail, your account gets credited with between $0.01 and $0.10 with absolutely no further obligation than this. It may sound small, but with about three or four e-mails every day, sometimes more, it actually adds up pretty quickly. Some of the offers are actually attractive, and if you do decide to complete an offer, you can get an additional reward, sometimes as much as $10 for signing up to a trial period on something (just make sure to mark the date in your calendar so that you don't forget to cancel if you don't want to continue with the offer!)
- Take Surveys – Again, InboxDollars sends out e-mails with invitations to complete surveys, and the website has additional opportunities to complete surveys. I usually earn between $0.50 and $1.00 for each survey that I complete. Now, I don't qualify for every survey, naturally, but there are so many that it is not hard to find at least a couple a day which again boosts your account balance very quickly. I find that the surveys are pretty quick to complete and usually I can do them whilst doing something else, so my time isn't being wasted.
- Get Paid to Shop – I have earned so much cashback from simple online shopping that I normally do anyway. The only difference is that now when I go to buy something online, I log on to InboxDollars first, click through to the merchant through the InboxDollars website, make my purchase and then wait for the money to come in. Customer service at InboxDollars are great. There have been a couple of occasions when I have made a purchase and not received my cashback, however, InboxDollars send a reminder e-mail to see if you completed your purchase and if you haven't received anything, they will contact the merchant for you. Each time, I have then received my money within a couple of days.
- Coupons – This is a double way to save. Click through to the coupons page and it will present pages of online coupons for groceries and other items – nothing new in this! The real bonus is that every time you use one of these coupons, you get the instant saving on the item you purchase and then, within a couple of days you'll receive an email from InboxDollars to say that you have been credited $0.10 for each coupon you used.
